Nonprofit Consulting in Westchester & Rockland Counties
Recognizing the vitality and breadth of the local nonprofit community, in 2007, NESC opened its White Plains office to assist those nonprofits serving Westchester and Rockland Counties and elsewhere in the Lower Hudson Valley. A team of consultants was organized to respond to the business management needs of the nonprofit organizations in the areas of healthcare, arts and culture, social services, education and government.
The NESC Consultant Team members have strong skills and broad experience in general business management and strategic planning, marketing and branding, finance, information technology, and human resources. For a Westchester County education and museum facility, NESC provides monthly supervision of budgets and financial reports, and performs essential bookkeeping and accounting operations.
For a New York State county economic development organization, NESC was asked to conduct an organization analysis in order to strengthen the delivery of its services and to improve efficiency and overall organizational performance.
For a multi-campus organization in Westchester and New York City offering a variety of short-term services to senior citizens, NESC worked with the client staff to create a new marketing and branding plan.

For a senior residence, NESC proposes to assist the client by emphasizing the strengthening of the Board of Directors and its succession plan and execution, and to undertake an analysis of the management structure, job descriptions and performance management processes.
For a charitable organization with a broad mission of community services, NESC was asked to update an earlier market survey it had done for the client to identify interest from the community and the probability of expanded membership.
